Fees

The hourly rate is $210 for most services, which is well below the APS recommended rate of $318. Click HERE for more information.

Assessments:
$2200-$4000 AUD (GST exempt)

An estimate can be provided over the phone and then a comprehensive plan will be finalised in the initial parent appointment.

Medicare rebates are available for autism assessments with a referral from a paediatrician or psychiatrist.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is payable at the time of booking. Assessments can be re-scheduled due to illness or unexpected emergencies a maximum of two times. Full payment is required before the feedback appointment or copies of the report are provided.

Therapy services:
Therapy appointments are $210 for a 50 to 60-minute appointment. 

Cancellation policy for therapy or supervision appointments:
Cancellation fees are charged to maintain the viability of this small business. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice incur a fee of 50% of the service fee. ‘No-show’ or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice incur a fee of 75% of the service fee. Please note that many appointments can be completed via telehealth to avoid a late cancellation fee.

An example learning difficulties assessment might include the following components.

  • 90-minute parent interview
  • Review of previous reports and school documents
  • One 3.5-hour or two 2-hour assessment appointments with child/adolescent
  • Comprehensive report including assessment results, diagnoses (if applicable) and recommendations for schools and other supports (if applicable)
  • Feedback appointment where you will receive the report and discuss the results and recommendations

An example autism assessment might include the following components.

  • Two or three 90-minute parent interviews
  • Review of previous reports and school documents
  • Several parent questionnaires
  • Several teacher questionnaires, and teacher telephone interview (if required)
  • Several self-report questionnaires (for adolescents)
  • Two 1.5-hour assessment appointments with the child/ adolescent
  • Comprehensive report including assessment results, diagnoses (if applicable) and recommendations for schools and other supports (if applicable)
  • Feedback appointment where you will receive the report and discuss the results and recommendations
