Fees

Assessments:
$2200-$4500 AUD (GST exempt)

The hourly rate is $200 for most services, which is well below the APS recommended rate of $300. Click HERE for more information. A comprehensive plan will be finalised in the initial parent appointment, with no obligation to go ahead if you decide that it’s not the right time.

Medicare rebates are available for autism assessments with a referral from a paediatrician or psychiatrist.

To secure the assessment appointments, a non-refundable deposit of $500 is payable at the time of booking. Full payment is required before the feedback appointment or copies of the report are provided.

Cancellation policy:
For parent interviews and feedback sessions, if less than 48 hours notice is provided, a fee of $100 is payable. If less than 24 hours notice is provided, a fee of $150 is payable. Please note that these appointments can be completed via telehealth to avoid a late cancellation fee.

An example learning difficulties assessment might include the following components.

  • 90-minute parent interview
  • Review of previous reports and school documents
  • One 3.5-hour or two 2-hour assessment appointments with child/adolescent
  • Comprehensive report including assessment results, diagnoses (if applicable) and recommendations for schools and other supports (if applicable)
  • Feedback appointment where you will receive the report and discuss the results and recommendations

An example autism assessment might include the following components.

  • Two or three 90-minute parent interviews
  • Review of previous reports and school documents
  • Several parent questionnaires
  • Several teacher questionnaires, and teacher telephone interview (if required)
  • Several self-report questionnaires (for adolescents)
  • Two 1.5-hour assessment appointments with the child/ adolescent
  • Comprehensive report including assessment results, diagnoses (if applicable) and recommendations for schools and other supports (if applicable)
  • Feedback appointment where you will receive the report and discuss the results and recommendations
